In August this year i had the pleasure of being invited to visit Dave Mustows private Military collection called ” A Tribute To Heroes ” based in Jersey C. I.
On entering Dave’s museum I was amazed and delighted to see one of the largest collections of WW2 military uniforms in the Channel Islands. They were in immaculate condition despite the years that have passed.
There were uniforms of the U.S. Airborne Divisions, US. Navy including The Seebees and a large collection of American helmets.
A large variety of model aircraft hung from the ceiling.
Around the walls was a collection of photographs, evidence of those tragic and unforgettable times. These included personal family photographs of Dave’s late father, now housed in a specially dedicated corner of the room know as ” Dad,s corner “
This was built in memory of his late father who served in the Royal Marines from 1936-1958.
I can personally recommend you arrange a visit. Having Dave on site to answer your questions is invaluable.
Dave’s details you will find on his contact page, for a possible viewing.
One not to be missed !!
